Reiki is a form of energy healing that is gentle, soothing, and great for balancing our emotional selves and our minds. Reiki helps the body to heal itself and is great for pain relief. This healing modality is translated as universal life energy. Rei meaning universal and Ki(also known as chi or prana) is our life force and through these energy we access and bring balance to this life force — this energy. Reiki works to balance the chakras much like yoga, but with the practitioner being the conduit while you spend time quietly receiving. Each chakra represents a psycho-emotional area of your life and sections of your body. Reiki helps to restore balance to these areas. It also helps to clear away some of the energetic clutter we pick up in our daily live. You leave a session feeling clearer, more relaxed and in touch with yourself. There may be times that tears are shed while we release some emotion, or you may fall asleep and just rest. Each experiene is different.
I have been a Reiki practitioner for 18 years and a Reiki master for 10, and have seen amazing results, on myself and others. Your session will consist of a short conversation, then a quiet time of being on the reiki table to receive the energy. All sessions are help on the crystal mat, a mat that is filled with turquoise, amethyst, clear quarts, tourmaline and orange jade and heats up, this also adds to your healing experience. We will end the session with some grounding and another short conversation.
We can also add a tarot reading to this session, they make a great pairing.
